So what are the Steers actually trying to get voth banned for?

Why the hell would we know Gazza!! we are only the fans...

Call the Steelers office and find out and then post it on here for us all to see, any other info we have is only what anybody else can read on the Steelers websites...
Most of us i expect could'nt give a rats ass either way!! Like what has been said before it maybe just spices up the next game for most of us.. Matsos may have a differnt view though

Oh dear me....didnt take long did it  .

Does Matsos have a direct  line to the local rag. The Devils fans i know cant work out what he is on about and my mates from Sheffield cant work out what he is on about. Or was he too busy sending on a guy who i believe hadnt had a shift all night AFTER Voth had gone.

It saddens me that the bitching has started already. God help Matsos when you guys play Hull.

And.....Jody.....stick to being a goalie as you add nothing to a debate.

I don't know who started it, but I doubt that the chain of events leading to the fight started at the point that has been suggested. As I say, he's not exactly known for his dirty play.

But then neither is Jarivs who Dagenais slashed and cross checked, so how do we sort that out?

Gazza don't you know by now, the Steelers players are Angels and can do no wrong!!!

I didn't say that, and I certainly didn't mean it. Moreover I'm far more interested in the Voth incident itself rather than the events leading to it.

i think it's good that it's like this. You can't say that the hockey season didn't start with a bang. Controversy, upsets, possible bans.. it's all kicked off big time :)

I've not seen the incident so I don't have a clue how bad it was, but I certainly wouldn't discount it just because nobody got injured and Dagenais got out of the way.

From a purely selfish point of view I hope Sheffield don't report the incident because we don't play Cardiff for another 11 games, whereas some of our competitors may benefit from any ban.

Great news that Cardiff managed a sell-out, just disappointing they didn't get to see any goals for the home team.

Tell me if I am wrong? Has'nt Voth put 2 sheffield players in hospital and injured 1. The elite league have looked closly at 2 but not the 3rd yet. I think he has had his 3rd chance and should get banned from playing britsh ice hockey, or a very long ban?

I think it will just continue and put players careers or even lives at risk.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Moran still the only EIHL player out injured at the moment?

And how did he get injured?

He fell over.

When does it stop becoming a coincidence? When does Voth's size stop as an excuse?

Dear oh dear. I hate to keep a long post going, but really, how many times can one man get away with 'thuggery'. As I did not see, maybe Dagenais did keep his knee out, maybe not. But yet again, to take fighting to the so called next level really shows him for a fool. Perhaps we should change the colour of our strip - perhaps he has an aversion to green?!! Maybe pink - he may just like that  !!

I do love a good Voth bashing. He really is a prize wolly and I do hope he leaves British Ice hockey at the earliest opportunity. Perhaps hairdressing Mr Voth?

When was his 3rd ? who was injured in the 3rd ?

The bandwagon rolls along nicely in Sheffield doesnt it.

Next he will be licking the blood of an opponent......oh ,hang on.......

So did Tait, that bloke who didn't have his helmet on and Humpty Dumpty. Your point is?

So are we saying that Moran fell over because of Sharp fighting him, or that Moran fell over, hurt himself - and the Sharp jumped him and started punching him.
