British Ice Hockey is not that reliable apparantly. They may have just got that information from the star article.

Well if that rumor is true, it will be a body blow.
But with what's happened this summer I suppose we have just got to count our blessings that we have got a team to watch.
If it is true, I would have thought munner would have least heard the new coach out.
If players have decided to quit over mr Phillips, then that's there perogative.
Hopefully with this guys contacts, they can be replaced, with better pedigree imports.
Idealy we want everyone to return that was sighned by matsos, but understand this might not happen now.
Just have to wait and see.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions with Steve Munn.

If he does decide to go he'll be leaving some big skates to fill, but there are plenty of equally good players out there.

I'd be more concerned if we lose Ash or Dowd, because they will be much harder to replace at this stage.

That's very true. I know it's just a rumour but it wouldn't suprise me.

I think this is a great signing by the Steelers.

His credentials as a player cant be questioned..and as a coach, everyone has to start there coaching career somewhere.

Don't know if I've missed anything over the past.....3 lifetimes this summer seems to have been so far, but is Ash still assistant coach? I read on SSHOF interview with Neil Abel that he was running the bench and was following insructions from Ben and his assistant. Hope Ash is the assistant coach btw.

A contract is a 2-way document.

I bet that the players already signed will honour their contracts; they'll arrive expecting the agreed contract to be met.

Bet yer.

It is thought Steve Munn may consider using a two-week get-out clause in his contract and new boy Jerramie Domish is seeking possible employment elsewhere.

It is also thought that having bought two tickets for this Fridays Euromillions I may well retire next Monday! That's not journalism that's just fanning the flames!

Very true but hes just doing his job as a journalist...his he wrong for doing it? Maybe so but scandal seems to sell newspapers!

Spot on Brushy...

I'd have thought that news of at least one confirmed and very influential (from a supporters POV, given the fanfare and joy abounding when he signed) thinking of employment elsewhere would be important to supporters of this laughing stock of a club.

You missed the words THOUGHT and MAY then Scuff? I've no problem with Bob W reporting facts, good or bad, but of late he's seemed more concerned with supposition, especially supposition that could be unsettling! Like today when he claimed that he could "reveal" that Bob P handed over control in Cardiff as he has now done in Sheffield, as though it was news to anyone.
