"Last week we were on the ropes when the bank seemed to pull the plug, but now we are back on line. The club is off the market, although people can come and talk to me at any time."
It is thought Steve Munn may consider using a two-week get-out clause in his contract and new boy Jerramie Domish is seeking possible employment elsewhere

Thought, possible, maybe, perhaps.....
I guess we wait and see.

I found these bits interesting:"Last week we were on the ropes when the bank seemed to pull the plug, but now we are back on line. The club is off the market, although people can come and talk to me at any time."

The Welshman says ex NHL centre Ben Simon will take over the coaching reins from Dave Matsos. While the player has yet to sign a contract, Phillips said Simon was a "100 per cent certainty" to join up.
If he commits on paper, he may face a job to keep some skaters who do not want to work with Phillips
That's not journalism that's just fanning the flames!
Chris71 wrote:He certainly looks a good signing, he's got points in the NHL which is pretty good and he's played a decent amount of games in that league. I welcome him to the Steelers and hope he has a good stay with us. Is he any relation to Chris Simon?![]()
Reading The Star a couple of things made me ponder about his "signing".............The Welshman says ex NHL centre Ben Simon will take over the coaching reins from Dave Matsos. While the player has yet to sign a contract, Phillips said Simon was a "100 per cent certainty" to join up.

Is this guy actually coming? I don't want to pour cold water on the exitement but has he signed?
If you have signed Ben, welcome to Sheffield. The weather may be rainy but the summer's are rarely dull!!!!!
Seriously, I do like the look of this guy and hope he has a few mates who've played with him at said NHL and AHL teams who may wish to join him!!!!
He (Simon) told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I'm excited and I am looking forward to getting things back on track. We're going to have an exciting team."
