Good to see the Steelers getting their coach sorted out, and also getting a super player as well... Things are starting to look bright again in Sheffield..

Welcome Ben.
Sounds very focused, can't wait to see the last 2 players he brings in.

I think you'll find he is one of the last two players, unless there are other departures
Reality is an illusion caused by a lack of imagination

Well, according to BIH Legue and Talbot are rumoured to be off.
But as I say, just rumours.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens now we have a coach signed up. That may serve to settle some nerves. In my article tomorrow Bob categorically states that ALL season tickets are safe and will be honoured, so more 'good' news there as well. There is also some interesting news on venues....
I will leave you with that one for tonight.

I believe he's going to be player coach with Neil Abel running the bench for him.

That's what I thought looking at his stats, but he must have been doing something right to get so many NHL and AHL games.
Perhaps he's a very good defensive forward who can also win a lot of faceoffs.

Yeah, he must have plenty of ability but doesn't it still leave the question of where the extra goals needed will come from?

Maybe the thinking is if we keep enough goals out of our own net this year we might not need to score so many?

For what it's worth I reckon he should be good for 25 goals, so it's hardly a disaster.
If our final forward is capable of 25+ goals then we won't be a million miles short of Coventry in goalscoring ability.
